WhatsApp is a very popular mobile messaging application. In fact it has over 1 billion monthly active users, and since it has received the new Video Calling feature it has lured a good amount of new users.
Today we will talk about the latest WhatsApp BETA version that has been released for Android smartphones. We should mention that this new version has been released today (January 20, 2017) and it can be installed on devices that run on Android 4.0 or later.
The WhatsApp BETA 2.17.25 APK (installation) file weights 31.7MB and it can be downloaded from the internet or from the Google Play Store (if you are a WhatsApp BETA Tester on the official Android store). However, we will tell you a bit later in this article how you can do that.
The new WhatsApp BETA 2.17.25 doesn’t come with any new options or features, but it fixes some of the bugs and issues that the developers or the users have found in the previous version of the application. In addition, the application’s stability has been improved.
HINT: As we’ve told you above, your smartphone needs to run on Android 4.0 or later or you will not be able to install this new WhatsApp version on it.
Open the browser on your device and head to this Google Play Store webpage. Here you will notice a "BECOME A TESTER" button, on which you will need to tap. Once you do this, you will just need to open the official Android store app, search for WhatsApp BETA 2.17.25 and install it on your smartphone.
